1. Who we are

Wezebo (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at wezebo.com, a technology news and reviews publication. For privacy inquiries, contact us at hello@wezebo.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

Information you provide

• Newsletter subscription: your email address when you sign up for the Wezebo Weekly. We use this solely to send the newsletter and will never sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Contact submissions: your name and email when you contact us directly.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: we use Ahrefs Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, referrer, browser type, and general location (country/region). No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Log data: our hosting infrastructure may log standard server data including IP addresses, access times, and referring URLs. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes.

3. Cookies

Wezebo uses a single first-party cookie to store your light/dark mode preference. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party retargeting pixels. Our analytics provider (Ahrefs) operates without cookies.

• To deliver the newsletter you subscribed to

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

• Sanity.io — content management platform (content storage only, no user data)
• Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection (processes request metadata)
• Ahrefs Analytics — cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics
• Google Publisher Center — news distribution (no user data shared)
• Apple News — news distribution (no user data shared)

6. Data retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form data is deleted within 90 days of the conversation closing. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@wezebo.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

8. Children's privacy

Wezebo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
